Drake Gives $50K To Random Fan At Concert, Still Has People Hating On Him

Drake did something pretty cool the other day at one of his concerts. And people are mad at him for it.

After learning that a fan’s girlfriend dumped him before his concert, the popular rapper gave the fan $50,000 in cash right there on the spot.

Pretty cool, right?

The fan at the Miami stop on Drake’s “It’s All a Blur Tour” got the rapper’s attention when he held up a sign that explained he bought tickets to the show for himself and his girlfriend, but she dumped him.

“I like that sign,” Drake told the crowd after seeing it.

“That’s a good sign to pick tonight. Usually I’ll do something nice for a lady. I’ll do something nice, I’ll give away a bag or some s— like that.

“But my bro right here, he said ‘I spent all my savings buying tickets for me and my ex, but honestly, never mind, it’s really her loss.'”

Drake continued, “So, she ain’t come with you tonight? To the Drake show? What the f— is wrong with her?

“You in here just icy with the gold chain and the sunglasses on?”

After the crows began chanting “F— that b—-!” Drake told the audience, “You know what? She’s gonna feel real f—— up ’cause Imma give you 50 bands, so you gon’ flex on her tonight.

“That’s how we doing it tonight, big dog! It’s your night tonight!

“I won’t say it how y’all said it, but f— that young lady.”

Naturally, this kind and very generous gesture was met with criticism because, well, 2023?

“Being a loser whose happiness comes from resenting and belittling women is something money can’t fix,” someone else commented.

“If feminism was still a thing and we actually took misogyny seriously this would be a cancellable offense,” read another comment.

“Roman emperor carelessly throwing a bag full of coins to his favorite towel boy,” another person wrote.

Yikes.

Coincidentally, Drake also happened to release a new video for his song “8AM in Charlotte” from his new For All the Dogs album on Thursday.

The video heavily features his son Adonis. People will probably find something they hate about it too.
