The Green Bay Packers are officially in a new era after trading Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets.
Jordan Love takes over as the new quarterback of the team. Considering he’s been the backup for multiple years, many have high expectations.
Now, it appears Love is beginning to buy into the team as the new leader on offense.
However, his comments just aren’t moving NFL fans all that much.According to Christian Gonzales of NFL.com, Jordan Love believes the “sky is the limit” for the Packers offense. He spent time hyping up the offense at the conclusion of mini camp.
“I think we’ve got a great team. I think we have a good offense, a young offense. We have a lot of work to keep putting in, keep building together. And I think we have a really good defense. Once we get everybody back and healthy, we’ll be really good.”
He continued on by hyping up the weapons around him as well.
“I think we’ve got playmakers on offense. I think all the weapons we have at receiver, tight end and running back, we’ve got guys who can make plays. I think once everybody gets rolling, gets comfortable with the offense and being where they need to be every play, the sky’s the limit for us.”
There is a ton of optimism floating around Green Bay right now, but Jordan Love and the Packers must back it up on the field.
For that reason, NFL fans are taking a cautious approach with Love. They clearly want to see some proof before buying all the way in.
I think this guy’s the limit for the GBP offense.

There isn’t too much faith in the Packers right now.
The sky = 7-10 record. My bet: 5-12.

He’s looked good in practice, but can he put it together in games?
In the limited action I’ve seen Love throws a nice ball and makes good decisions.

At the end of the day, this is a pivotal year for Jordan Love and the Packers. He finally has a chance to prove he’s the franchise quarterback for this team after Aaron Rodgers.
Love has some mighty big shoes to fill, but we won’t know how it plays out until the 2023 season is played through.
