HBO just sent out 10 photos from ‘Spoils of War’, the next Game of Thrones episode. It’s hard to believe we’re already at S07E04 after the winter’s long wait for Season 7 to kick off, but we’re already in the thick of things in terms of plot. By the way, there are potential minor spoilers below if you’re not caught so just be aware of that.
It’s been a weird week for HBO. They were hacked and some forthcoming episodes of other shows were released as well as a Game of Thrones script. I refuse to read those spoilers because I see no reason to ruin this season for myself, but you’re eager to read those spoilers you can click this article and then go down the rabbit hole from there. The difference between that script leaking and me refusing to read the spoilers versus these images from Ga,e of Thrones S07E04 ‘Spoils of War’ is that I can avoid the script. HBO sends me these images and I can’t exactly ignore my work inbox, can I? So I’ll look, and I’ll share with you bros.
Scrolling through these images I see a lot of unhappy and fearful looking characters, and then there’s Brienne and Podrick looking all cheery-faced like they both just got laid in the barn. Seriously, look at the pained expressions on everyone’s faces in these images from ‘Spoils of War’.
You can see the red leaves of the Godswood of Winterfell. With Sansa’s ‘oh shit’ face I’m guessing she’s witnessing Bran do some weird shit as the ‘3-Eyed Raven’ all tapped into the tree.
Two seasoned warriors here. Jamie and Bronn are either still in Highgarden or they’re on their way back, but their expressions show them looking worried way off into the distance, perhaps sizing up an approaching troop.
