It looks like the Tennessee Titans won’t be parting ways with their star players, Derrick Henry and DeAndre Hopkins, despite the team’s lackluster 2-4 start to the season.

According to reports from The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Titans have been fielding calls from other teams about potential trades, but General Manager Ran Carthon isn’t budging unless the offers are “exceptional.

Also, the Dallas Cowboys reportedly haven’t called the Titans’ to inquire about Derrick Henry. So, it seems the big man in the backfield is safe in Tennessee, for now.

Derrick Henry, known as one of the best running backs in NFL history, has quite the impressive resume with numerous team and league records to his name. His most notable accomplishment is probably his 2,000+ yard rushing season in 2020, which earned him Offensive Player of the Year honors.

DeAndre Hopkins, a recent addition to the Titans, inked a 2-year, $26 million deal, which makes it seem unlikely that he’ll be on the move. Besides, he’s been quite productive, leading the team with 27 catches for 376 yards in just 6 games.

The Titans are set to face off against the Falcons in Week 8 this Sunday, with both Henry and Hopkins in the lineup.
