44-year-old Manny Pacquiao is confident he can take on the much younger Gervonta Davis.
This weekend, Pacquiao is in Saudi Arabia with other former boxing champions to attend the Francis Ngannou-Tyson Fury fight.
While there, Pacquiao was interviewed by Fight Hub’s Marcos Villegas. During his interview, Villegas asked Pacquiao if he was interested in fighting Davis. The former boxing champ immediately said he would fight Davis at a catchweight of 145-147 pounds.
“He’s a good fighter..if he wants he can come to 147 or maybe 145 and we can fight”
“Gervonta Davis, what do you make of him as a fighter?”

When asked how the fight would go, Pacquiao said he was confident he would because he’s more experienced.
“That’s not a problem for me, I’m an experienced fighter.”
Davis usually fights at 135 pounds, and it would be doubtful that he would move up to fight the bigger Pacquaio.
It is also worth noting that Pacquiao hasn’t fought since 2021 in a loss to Yordenis Ugas.
