We are still 226 days until John Wick 3: Parabellum blasts into theaters, so we really shouldn’t get too excited about the upcoming Keanu Reeves action flick. But the director of John Wick 3 gave us a tease as to what to expect and it sounds like the greatest movie of all-time.
Chad Stahelski co-directed the original John Wick, directed John Wick: Chapter 2, is directing John Wick 3: Parabellum, and is an executive producer of the upcoming John Wick TV series The Continental. Chad Stahelski has John Wick coursing through his felt veins.
The director is just as amped if not more excited than you for John Wick 3 and provided a riveting description of the upcoming assassin film.Stahelski told Collider that the third John Wick movie will include “horses, dogs, cats, a raven, a bunch of pigeons, a motorcycle chase, car chase, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, shotguns, and ninjas.” You had me at “ninjas.”

“John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s ‘Excommunicado’ – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.”
