James Madison University is having a tremendous basketball season after a sensational football season in the fall. But, in Wednesday night’s game against Old Dominion, they had a moment they will not want to remember.
In the second half of their blowout win over the Monarchs, James Madison wing Terrence Edwards Jr took quite the cheap shot at Old Dominion’s RJ Bankley
Not sure what Edwards could possibly be thinking. pic.twitter.com/TwzPnk6wfs

For the act, Edwards Jr. received two technical fouls and was ejected from the game. That seems like a fair punishment.
Terrence Edwards was just given two technicals and was ejected. ODU's Tyrone Williams also got one according to the stats, though I'm not sure why it wasn't RJ Blakney. I have no idea what the second T on Edwards was for.

What could he have been thinking? Did Bankley say something to him? He couldn’t have been frustrated, as James Madison was winning the game easily at that point. Yes, he was just 1-6 from the floor at the time, but his team was up by twenty points. What could have possibly set him off.
James Madison won the game, 78-62, continuing an incredible year for the Dukes. They’re now 18-2 on the season, in second place in the Sun Belt, and a likely tournament team as of now. But, plays like that won’t help your reputation, even if it won’t impact their tournament resume.
