Shaquille O’Neal is a man of many talents, whether we’re talking about his ability to dominate opponents on the court, provide infinite amounts of entertainment on TNT, or team up with an animated military officer to convince people to buy car insurance.
Shaq is also a pretty talented rapper, and while he largely stepped away from the game after releasing his final studio album in 1998, he unexpectedly came out of retirement last month after finding himself at the receiving end of some shade from Damian Lillard.
Lillard—a.k.a. Dame D.O.L.L.A.—would eventually respond with a diss of his own, and as much as it pains me to admit it, it was actually pretty fire.
After Shaq failed to respond to the track in question, Lillard decided to channel his inner Drake and go back-to-back by releasing what appeared to be the nail in the coffin with the appropriately titled “I Rest My Case.”
However, Shaq was having none of that, as the Hall of Famer dropped a rebuttal and fired back in the form of “Second Round Knockout.”
It appears Shaq decided to channel his inner Maude Lebowski, as the track in question is quite vaginal. Over the course of four-and-a-half minutes, he calls Lillard the human embodiment of a queef, implies he has a camel toe, and said he’d be happy to give the Trail Blazer a pap smear.
Based on the evidence at hand, I think Lillard ultimately walks away with the W here but Shaq definitely managed to hold his own—especially when you consider he’s been largely absent from the booth for a couple of decades.
I eagerly await Dame D.O.L.L.A.’s response.
