The Cowboys are ready to make Dak Prescott the highest-paid player in NFL history, according to one NFL insider.
According to Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz the Dallas Cowboys are eager to resign Prescott to a massive deal this offseason.
“Dak Prescott’s been lights out all season in Dallas,” Schultz said.

Schultz continued by saying that he believes Prescott could make between $55-60 million a year on a new contract.
“He’s going to get between $55-60 million,” Schultz said. “We’ve already seen Joe Burrow get that $55 (million) number, Dak Prescott has an opportunity to reset it.
“I think the floor is around $55 (million), remember, both sides are highly motivated.”
Prescott has been playing at a high level all season and was even considered to be a MVP candidate until the team’s recent string of losses.
