Rumors started to pick up steam today that the Houston Rockets were getting ready to ship James Harden either to the 76ers or the Brooklyn Nets after his expressed desire for a trade. The Rockets guard said last night that his relationship with Houston was unfixable after a 117-110 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers and the team was forced to act.
ESPN Senior NBA Insider Adrain Wojnarowski reported what the block buster trade looks like for both the Nets and the Rockets:
Houston has also included Indiana in the trade, sending newly-acquired Caris LeVert north in return for Victor Oladipo.
Harden has his wish and Brooklyn did not have to trade Kyrie Irving to get him. As a result, Kevin Durant, Irving and Harden will lead the big three.
