To say that these are ‘awful foods’ might not be entirely fair. The point of ‘Secret Ingredient’ is to identify one mystery ingredient that has been added to an otherwise normal dish. The chef behind these particular dishes is Iron Chef Mario Batali, the owner/operator of some of my favorite NYC pasta restaurants.
Participating in this round of ‘Secret Ingredient’ is childhood actor turned Silicon Valley investor Ashton Kutcher, accompanied by Jimmy Fallon, Vanessa Hudgens, and Liam Payne who used to be in One Direction. It’s hard to tell if the things these actors are eating genuinely taste like wet poopy diapers that have been left out in the Phoenix sun to bake for hours, or if they’re playing it up. It did genuinely seem like they despised the Marshmallow Fluff pizza, which Jimmy somehow guessed.
