Ever since he started doing duets/using TikTok’s Duet feature to interact with trolls he’s had a must-follow account.

I first stumbled onto Richard Jefferson’s TikTok account just last week when I saw a video of him trolling a troll asking about the single-worst alley-oop attempt in NBA history. Then earlier today, a colleague showed me a video of Richard Jefferson calling out a creepy former NBA ball boy for staring inappropriately and talking inappropriately about the players in the locker room.

Richard Jefferson earned roughly $115,046,209 in NBA contracts over 17 seasons in the NBA. He is a very wealthy man. He absolutely does not need to spend his days on TikTok interacting with trolls to build a social media presence but we’re certainly glad he is.

I think you get the point by now Richard Jefferson can be seen on ESPN as an NBA analyst but he’s really hit his stride in TikTok in a way that most if not all of his ESPN colleagues haven’t yet.

He’s barely been on TikTok for a month and a half and he’s already picked up 213K followers and counting.
