In an effort to maintain respect for the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ iconic team logo, star safety Minkah Fitzpatrick has taken matters into his own hands.

Fitzpatrick recently initiated a move to block off the team logo within the locker room, preventing anyone from inadvertently walking over it.

Known for his meticulous attention to detail on and off the field, Fitzpatrick expressed his commitment to preserving the team’s traditions.

“I’m very, very big on the details,” he stated. “Something as small as keeping our logo clean, it’s simple, but it means a lot.”

Fitzpatrick’s proactive approach to protecting the logo has been well-received by teammates and staff alike, underscoring his dedication to the team’s history.

While it may seem like a minor adjustment, the move highlights the importance of respecting the team’s symbols and traditions in the Steelers’ organization.

Other teams don’t allow people stepping on their logo either. This memorable video from NFL Media’s Steve Wyche went viral about a year ago because he was forced to do 25 pushups for stepping on the Raiders logo.
