22-year-old wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is like the anti-Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Which is pretty amazing considering the fact that when he entered the NFL he was still just 20. Not many 20-year-olds with $3 million in their pockets and the adulation of NFL fans would be so down-to-earth.
Of course, when your mom still makes you do chores around the house, even after acquiring such fame and fortune, I guess you kind of have to be humble.
Smith-Schuster has become a fan favorite since he entered the league, and not just in Pittsburgh.
From hilariously shutting down Mia Khalifa trying to flirt with him on Twitter and the funny tale of his stolen bike to wearing his full uniform, pads and all, while serving a one-game suspension and trying to recruit LeBron James to the Steelers, JuJu gives people a lot of reasons to like him. (He also went trick-or-treating dressed up as, you guessed it, JuJu Smith-Schuster.)
And now, over the weekend while preparing to play in the Pro Bowl (and then showing why the Pro Bowl is stupid), Smith-Schuster once again showed why he’s so popular with NFL fans by buying shoes for everyone in an Orlando shoe store.
He even went full Oprah, saying, “You get a pair of shoes. You get a pair of shoes. I say shoes for everybody.”
How can anyone not love this guy?
