Apparently getting wind of the jokes about him, Sharpe took to Twitter to release a statement about the matter.
“Appreciate the concern over my makeup this morning on First Take. This was her 1st time doing my makeup and it was a little heavy. My appearance is important not as important as my takes. Hopefully, the takes were gr8 [sic] as usual,” Sharpe

Sharpe will be appearing on First Take on Tuesday, as well, so it’ll be interesting to see whether or not the makeup artist makes the necessary tweaks.
