Carole Baskin Joins ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Because 2020 Gonna 2020

Dancing with the Stars, the network television dancing competition that pits somewhat famous celebrities against other somewhat famous celebrities, announced the list of dancers for its inconceivable 29th season. It appears that DWTS has scraped the bottom of the stardom barrel with this season’s crop of fame seekers.

“Hey all you cool cats and kittens,” welcome Tiger King star Carole Baskin to Dancing with the Stars. Joe Exotic must be even more pissed at Carole “fucking” Baskin now.

ABC unveiled the lineup for Dancing with the Stars on Wednesday, and it not only includes Baskin, but also Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, Selling Sunset real estate agent Chrishell Stause, rapper Nelly, NBA bruiser Charles Oakley, Catfish host Nev Schulman, and Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean. 2020 continues to not disappoint in how disappointing 2020 is.

The professional dancers for this season will include Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, Sharna Burgess, Cheryl Burke, Artem Chigvintsev, Val Chmerkovskiy, Sasha Farber, Jenna Johnson, Daniella Karagach, Keo Motsepe, Peta Murgatroyd, Pasha Pashkov, Gleb Savchenko, Emma Slater, and Britt Stewart. Some advice to the dancer who gets paired up with Baskin, maybe only meet her in public places. Just a friendly suggestion.

Many fans showed support for the flower crown-wearing Baskin being named to Dancing with the Stars, and believe she’ll kill it. However, others aren’t confident in her dancing abilities. But that might be an unfair criticism considering how much rhythm she has.

Baskin, who is the owner of Florida’s Big Cat Rescue, has been asked about appearing in a second season of Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, but she is reportedly demanding a seven-figure sum.

Since the Tiger King docuseries went viral in late March, many have asked questions about Baskin’s former millionaire husband, Jack “Don” Lewis. He disappeared on the morning of August 18, 1997, the day before a scheduled trip to Costa Rica. Members of the Lewis family hired an attorney to reexamine the investigation into the suspicious disappearance. The family is also offering a 100,000 reward for any information that will help solve the case.

Meanwhile, Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage AKA Joe Exotic, is currently serving a 22-year jail sentence at Federal Prison FMC Fort Worth for a murder-for-hire plot targeting Baskin. He was convicted on two counts of murder-for-hire, eight counts of violating the Lacey Act for falsifying wildlife records, and nine counts of violating the Endangered Species Act.

The new season of DWTS premieres on September 14, at 8:00 p.m. on ABC, and will feature:
