The Dolphins lost to the Eagles in primetime last night, but the league went ahead and made a surprising announcement about them anyway.
The Miami Dolphins will be the focus of this year’s in-season Hard Knocks.
This marks the third consecutive season in which NFL Films will delve into the inner workings of a featured team mid-season.

The show is known for its behind-the-scenes look at teams’ preparations and has been a staple for football fans for two decades.
The Colts and the Cardinals were previously the featured teams over the last two seasons.
The 5-2 Dolphins, who are leading the AFC East, are set to make a playoff push while doing the show, who will air on HBO’s Max.
It should be a great show given the presence of star players such as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, electric receiver Tyreek Hill, dynamic wideout Jaylen Waddle, veteran speedster running back Raheem Mostert, rookie sensation running back De’Von Achane, and quirky head coach Mike McDaniel.

It isn’t clear when the show will premiere but NFL fans should be excited.
