Utah State continues to prove itself to be one of the top college basketball programs in the country. The No. 20-ranked team moved to 15-1 with a dominant home win over the Wyoming Cowboys on Tuesday.
Although the Aggies’ 52.5% shooting percentage would normally be the most impressive takeaway from the game, it was redshirt freshman guard Mason Falslev who stole the spotlight even though he dropped just nine points.
His highlight reel dunk was downright vicious.Falslev, who is listed at 6-foot-3, 203 pounds on the roster, is likely closer to 6-foot-2 in real life. His size did not keep him from driving into the paint and putting a much taller opponent on a poster!

British forward Great Osobor (yes, his name is Great) drew three defenders near the baseline. Wyoming’s defense thought that they had him trapped when — oop! — he slipped the ball to Falslev, who was cutting toward the hoop.
Cowboys forward Mason Walters tried to step up and block the shot at the rim. He is listed at 6-foot-9.
His attempt failed. Miserably.
Falslev threw it down on his head top and blew the roof off of Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. It was electric!

Walters, a fifth-year graduate student, should consider early retirement from college basketball. You simply cannot let a guard that is at least six inches shorter throw down all over you. That’s brutal.
His teammate, Akuel Kot, slid over to try and contest Falslev alongside Walters. He ultimately made a business decision and got out of the way.
Walters should have followed suit because now, for the rest of his life, he will be forced to think about the time that a 6-foot-2/3 white dude from Utah put him on a poster. It is an unfortunate reality that could have been avoided.
