Aaron Rodgers was in attendance at the New York Yankees 5-4 loss to the Seattle Mariners on Monday, May 20, and found himself in the half-joking crosshairs of broadcasters MichaelKay and Todd Frazier.
After cameras spotted the 40-year-old Jets quarterback, a guest of former New York Mets pitcher Marcus Stroman, having a conversation in a suite, Frazier mused “I wonder what he’s talking about?”, prompting Kay to snidely reply “Could be anything” before the pair began to chuckle.
Kay is referencing Rodgers’ recent reputation for having a bevy of fringe and often controversial views on a number of subjects.

Most recently, Rodgers made headlines for revealing on The Tucker Carlson Show that he doesn’t watch adult entertainment because he’s worried “they” can put something on his computer to “cancel” him.
The Yankees broadcast also isn’t alone in poking fun at Rodgers as the Los Angeles Chargers did the same in their 2024 schedule release video.
Rodgers is just about two months out from beginning his second season as a member of the New York Jets as the team will be reporting to training camp around July 20.
The future Hall of Fame quarterback will certainly be hoping that this year goes better than last year, as he tore his ACL just four plays into his career with the team, ending his season before it even started.
Armed with weapons such as Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, Mike Williams, and rookie Malachi Corley, Rodgers has been tasked with leading the Jets to the NFL playoffs for the first time since 2010, which is currently the longest-running postseason drought in American professional sports.
Despite the talk of the Jets being Super Bowl favorites, the sportsbooks don’t seem to necessarily agree as the Jets are the third-favorites to win the AFC East behind the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.
