We are less than a month away from another installment of EA Sports’ flagship NFL video game, Madden 24. And, player rankings are starting to trickle out.
This year’s game has been described as a “make-or-break” game, according to sources, with the franchise being panned in recent years for simply not being good enough.
It remains to be seen if this year’s game is a huge improvement on the last few editions, which have been panned for unrealistic gameplay and lack of depth in the popular franchise mode. But, myself and many others, will still buy the game. To build hype for Madden 24, they’ve been releasing player ratings by position, and on Tuesday it was time for edge rushers.

First off, no one gets the coveted 99, a day after Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle was once again named a member of the “99 club.” The top three players are likely the consensus top edge players in the league in Nick Bosa, Myles Garrett, and Micah Parsons. Though, I can see how someone could gripe about TJ Watt’s rating, as he is likely in the same tier as those guys.

T.J. Watt should be ranked in the top 2

People were also griping about Hassan Reddick’s low ranking.
Reddick lead the league in sacks. And took out Brock Turdy in the first drive of the NFC championship

Hassan Reddick way too low. Bosa and Miller barely played last year

Madden 24 is released on August 18.
