This weekend’s NFL Divisional Round was filled with bad beats for bettors.
One bettor saw Ja’Marr Chase fall less than a yard short of winning them a million dollars.
Others saw their under 44.5 ticket for Monday night’s game missed by a half point after Brett Maher missed 4 extra points.
One bettor had a bit better luck this weekend.
Today, Fanduel Sportsbook shared a winning bet by one user who turned 25 cents into $248 by betting Mike Gesicki, KJ Osborn, Demarcus Robinson, and Julio Jones all to score during the first round of the NFL playoffs.

Not a bad way to spend a quarter

This is a truly wild combination of players to bet to score touchdowns aside from KJ Osborn.
Osborn had the best odds to score on this parlay and there are good reasons why. He was playing against a vulnerable Giants pass defense and scored 5 touchdowns during the regular season.
Meanwhile, Demarcus Robinson had only scored twice all year and one of those came all the way back in Week 2.
Mike Gesicki is a major threat around the end zone thanks to his size and athleticism, but hadn’t capitalized on that recently.
While he scored 5 TDs in the regular season, only one of this came in the last 2 months of the season. He also averaged just under 2 catches per game this season.Julio Jones is probably the most shocking part of this parlay to hit. Jones only scored twice during the regular season and hadn’t scored in his last 5 games. For the season, he only made 24 catches. He also had plenty of competition for targets with the Buccaneers receiving corps at full strength.
Despite all of that, this unlikely parlay paid out for the lucky bettor. Unfortunately, all of the players they bet scored in losing efforts, so they’ll need to find new players to put their trust in if they want to keep rolling in the Divisional Round.
