Will she or won’t she? That is the question surrounding Iowa Hawkeyes guard Caitlin Clark and the 2024 WNBA Draft.
It’s not an easy decision these days thanks to the NIL money stars like Caitlin Clark can now make while playing college sports.
She has already done deals with Gatorade, State Farm, Nike, Buick, Topps, H&R Block, and the Hy-Vee grocery store chain.
So it’s not like she would be missing out on making money by staying in college for another year. Clark, who is technically a senior at Iowa, still has one more year of eligibility left thanks to the pandemic of 2020.
As part of her list of endorsement deals, Caitlin Clark just added another unique product to her ever-growing list of merch this week: cereal!
She now joins Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce as athletes to get their own cereal thanks to her partnership with Hy-Vee.
Caitlin’s Crunch Time, a sugar-frosted flakes cereal, will hit Hy-Vee store shelves beginning on Jan. 11.

“This a stroke of genius,” an NIL agent told On3. “It’s a unique product that will be in front of her audience in Iowa and in the Midwest – at the perfect time, too. It further strengthens Caitlin’s brand. By giving sales to her foundation, it also connects her even more with the community that loves her.”
All of the proceeds from the cereal will benefit the Caitlin Clark Foundation, whose “mission is to uplift and improve the lives of youth and their communities through education, nutrition, and sport.”
“Hy-Vee is an ideal business match, we share so many values,” Clark wrote on her website. “I admire Hy-Vee’s leadership in our communities and how they are committed to giving back, especially in the areas of education, health and wellness.”
Clark is now only a few hundred points away from surpassing Kelsey Plum for the women’s college basketball all-time scoring record. Should she return for a fifth year she might put that mark so far out of reach it may never be broken.
Then again, declaring for the WNBA Draft would mean teaming up with last year’s number one pick and reigning Rookie of the Year Aliyah Boston on the Indiana Fever.
Based on the advance ticket sales of Iowa’s game against the Indiana Hoosiers, fans in that state appear very excited for that to happen.
