Ex-ESPNer Blasts ESPN’s Coverage Of Michigan’s Sign-Stealing Scandal

Former ESPNer and college football insider Brett McMurphy has a bone to pick with ESPN.

For the past few weeks, Michigan has been at the center of a sign-stealing scandal featuring a low-level staffer.

ESPN has been at the forefront of the investigation, which apparently is rubbing McMurphy the wrong way.

On Saturday, McMurphy blasted ESPN for trying to have the moral high ground on the Michigan scandal while accusing the media organization of “stealing” stories from other reporters.

“It’s ironic @ESPN is hammering Michigan & Jim Harbaugh for sign-stealing when ESPN continually steals & fails to credit reporters & news organizations for news ESPN didn’t break”

McMurphy isn’t the only one who thinks ESPN is going too hard on Michigan.

Fans/viewers on the Internet have noticed how ESPN’s coverage of the Michigan scandal differs from other networks’ views.

As for Michigan, it appears that head coach Jim Harbaugh is going to take the fall over the scandal and could be facing a suspension this season.
