Lakers Ignoring LeBron James’ Passive-Aggressive Threats To Leave Team According To Report

The Lakers don’t plan on going all-in on the trade market just to please LeBron James.

For the past few weeks, LeBron has been posting cryptic tweets on social media implying that he wants to leave the team if they don’t make any moves.

According to ESPN’s Brian Widnhorst, the Lakers have completely ignored LeBron’s passive-aggressive threats and are unwilling to trade away their future draft picks to appease LeBron.

“The Lakers to this point, from what I am told by sources, have not reacted to LeBron’s maneuvers, including wearing the Knicks towel last night, and they have kind of held firm in their talks,” he said. “The issue with the Lakers is they have only a couple of draft assets left, and they just want to hold onto them.”

The Lakers are currently 9th in the West with a 26-25 record and it’s unclear if they’re going to make any trades before the trade deadline.

LeBron has already stated that he will not talk about an extension with the Lakers until after the season is over.
