Colin Cowherd Seems To Think Nick Saban Could Be A Good Fit For The Cowboys, Gives 5 Reasons He Could Leave Alabama For Dallas

The Dallas Cowboys are en route to another disappointing season as they sit at 6-7 on the year. Thanks to the NFC East being a dumpster fire, however, the Cowboys still lead the division and control their own fate.

With things looking grim in Dallas there has been plenty of rumor floating about that perhaps this is the year Jason Garrett’s seat actually gets too hot and Jerry Jones pulls the trigger on the man that’s never won a playoff game.

There has been a report suggesting that Jones is ‘very intrigued’ on bringing Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley in as the next coach of the Cowboys. While Riley has been atop the rumor pile, there’s another coach located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama that may be a good fit in the Lonestar State as well, and that’s Mr. Nick Saban.

Well, at least according to Colin Cowherd.

During a segment of The Herd on Friday afternoon, Cowherd laid out five reasons as to why Saban could leave Alabama for the Cowboys head coaching vacancy if it does indeed come about.

He claims these five reasons are ‘obvious.’

Saban coached two seasons in the NFL with the Dolphins posting an overall record of 15-17 between 2005 and 2006.
