Nikola Jokic desperately wanted to be back home in Serbia instead of celebrating the NBA championship.
On Monday night, the Serbian big man led the Nuggets to their first championship in franchise history.
Despite the cause for celebration, Jokic was adamant that he wanted to be back home.
“The job is done, now we can back home,” Jokic told ESPN’s, Lisa Salters.
Hilarious postgame bite from Jokic:
Lisa Salters asks Joker how does it feel to be a champion?

During the postgame press conference, Jokic hated the fact that he had to stay in Denver until Thursday for the championship parade.
“When is the parade? Thursday? No, I need to go home.”
Jokic asked if he's looking forward to a parade
