Josh Dobbs is one of the best stories in sports right now. The 28-year-old quarterback is on his ninth different team in seven years, and can’t stop winning.
Dobbs, drafted in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, has spent time with the Steelers (twice), Jaguars, Browns (twice), Lions, Titans, Cardinals and Vikings.
He began the 2023 season in Arizona. He won his second-straight game with Minnesota on Sunday, even though he needed help finding the locker room.Not only is Josh Dobbs a great story, he’s a great quarterback. Can he go any higher?
That is the question everybody wants to know. Including Creed, kind of.

Prominent in the post-grunge movement of the late 1990s and early 2000s, Creed has become a big part of the Vikings’ identity this season. It all started after beginning the year at 0-3.
They have rattled off five-straight wins while playing ‘Higher’ before and after games.
They’re having fun again.
I gotta say it, Creed. It was really good morale. They keep playing ‘Higher’ and I’m going ‘Creed has a lot of good hits, they’ve got a good catalog.’ We don’t only have to play ‘Higher,’ but they’re taking us higher, so we’ll take it.
— Kirk Cousins on Oct. 24
Cousins is out, Dobbs is in. Creed has never left!
Dobbs is incredible at TikTok. He buried Micah Parsons with a brilliant troll back in September and immediately leaned into the Creed trend with an incredible hype video after his first win.
@joshdobbs THANK YOU SKOL NATION FOR WELCOMING ME WITH ARMS WIDE OPEN #SKOL
That continued on Sunday. Over the last few weeks, a resurfaced video from last November has again gone viral online. MaceAhWindu sings along with Creed as a man shatters a giant block of ice in slow-motion. It’s epic.
Dobbs put his own twist on the duet after beating the Saints in his first start for Minnesota. The execution could not have been any better. In lieu of the ice block smash, it features one of Dobbs’ extremely athletic touchdown during the second quarter.
@joshdobbs CAN YOU TAKE ME HIGHER? #duet with @MaceAhWindu #joshdobbs @Vikings
Nobody in the NFL is better at TikTok than Dobbs. The Passtronaut is having himself a moment.
He has been waiting seven years for this opportunity and now he is the most exciting quarterback in football. CAN YOU TAKE HIM HIGHER?!
