Seeing this new viral meme of Shannon Sharpe repeatedly saying “that ain’t no problem” reminded me just how different he and his brother Sterling Sharpe were during their playing days.
On one hand, Shannon was famously never at a loss for words, which is why he’s gone on to literally talk for a living, working on The NFL Today and alongside Skip Bayless on Undisputed.
On the other hand, Sterling refused to talk to the media after games and as well as most interview requests, basically doing the same thing Marshawn Lynch did more recently, both catching the ire of the NFL.
(In an amazing turnaround, in retirement Sterling went on to BE the media, taking a job as an analyst for the NFL Network. However, now he says he doesn’t follow football anymore.)Anyway, back to Shannon Sharpe.
Recently, while in the midst of one of the zillion arguments that have taken place on Undisputed, Sharpe took his voice up several octaves while repeatedly saying, “That ain’t no problem!”
Great, right? The internet thought so too and decided that this move by Sharpe was perfect fodder to be turned into a meme. The internet was correct.
