So after some confusion, Power Slap League will officially air. However, there is still some controversy due to Dana White’s incident on New Year’s Eve.
Well, the UFC President promoted the premiere date for PSL, as you’d expect. However, it led to fight fans absolutely roasting White instead.
It was a pretty simple tweet. Short, sweet, and to the point. There’s even a hype video included. Normally, this kind of promotional tweet would generate some excitement. Especially considering how Dana White helped grow MMA into popularity with The Ultimate Fighter series.

Instead, UFC fans, and pretty much everybody, couldn’t help but troll White due to the irony of the league he’s promoting. The physical altercation Dana White had with his wife on New Year’s Eve is still fresh on the mind. With that said, get ready for the comment section.

The irony is just too much to handle.

You’d think Dana White would consider someone else promoting the Power Slap League, right?
Brother in Christ this ain’t the best time to be promoting a slapping league

In the end, TBS is still airing the PSL. There doesn’t seem to be anything set in place for a possible repercussion at this time.
