Does Jim Harbaugh still have a new contract offer on the table from Michigan?
Well, we still don’t know.
What we do know, however, is that Harbaugh has refuted a reported claiming that the Wolverines rescinded an offer due to the ongoing NCAA investigation into his program’s alleged sign stealing.
When asked Monday whether the university rescinded his contract offer, Harbaugh

But he did not elaborate any further on the state of a new deal.
Michigan is 33-3 over the last three seasons under Harbaugh. But it’s also been the subject of two NCAA investigations over the last six months.
The latest came amid allegations that Harbaugh and his staff operated a covert sign-stealing operation over the last three seasons.
Harbaugh, of course, denies those allegations.
“I want to make it clear that I, and my staff, will fully cooperate with the investigation into this matter,”
“No matter what program or organization that I have led throughout my career, my instructions and awareness of how we scout opponents have always been firmly within the rules. Pursuant to NCAA rules, I will not be able to comment further while this investigation takes place.”
Both the Big Ten and NCAA have since launched investigations. The latter has even gone as far as to take their investigation on campus.
However, no resolution is expected prior to the completion of the 2023 college football season.
