New from Wolf Spirit Distillery is Puncher’s Chance, a 12-year-old Tennesse straight bourbon whiskey. The “12” signifies the 12th round of a fight, where those with a true fighting spirit are rewarded for going the distance.
Notes of big vanilla, toasted oak aroma, and a hint of cedar complement the whiskey. At a first sip there are evolutions of apricot and orange peel, followed by flavors of tobacco and leather.

Ardbeg Fermutation
Ardbeg’s Fermutation is a Scottish whiskey that was created by accident. In 2007, a boiler broke down in the Ardbeg distillery and nearly spoiled six washbacks of whiskey. After trying to revive the broken boiler, the Director of Distilling, Dr. Bill, decided to open the washback lids and expose the whiskey, leading to what would become a three-week fermentation.
Fermutation is the creation that arose from this on-the-fly experiment. Its peat and smoke meld combine with fresh, floral flavors. Femutation is sharp and maltier than traditional Ardbeg spirits, leading to a distinct zingy taste.
