TNT’s Kenny Smith angered some fans who tuned into Sabrina Ionescu’s face vs. Steph Curry in a special three-point contest.
During NBA All-Star Saturday night, Ionescu narrowly lost 29-26 to Curry while both shot from the NBA 3-point line, but Ionescu was able to use a WNBA ball.

After the contest, Smith was adamant that Ionescu should have shot from the women’s 3-point line instead of the regular NBA line.
“I think she should of shot from the women’s line, that would have been a fair contest, I still root for Sabrina, she should have shot from 3-point line that women shoot from”
“There’s a women’s tee in golf, and there’s a men’s tee for a reason”

Reggie Miller immediately fired back at Smith and defended Ionescu.
“Why are you putting boundaries on her? Good job, Sabrina, don’t let any man put boundaries on you like Kenny.”
Smith faced backlash from angry NBA fans.
This is mad lame.
Caitlyn Clark (women’s ball or not) is arguably shooting 30+ foot 3PTs better than any shooter not named Steph, Dame, Trae or Luka right now.
This is crazy. The game is changing and women’s sports are better than ever. https://t.co/PRvIyLwoqv

Kenny smith is embarrassing himself by suggesting Sabrina should’ve shot from the women’s line. She shot just as well as the plays in the main competition.
