Since leaving the UFC many have wondered what’s next for Nate Diaz. He has plenty of options on the table and it sounds like he has a plan on his mind.

However, his aspirations might be a bit too big, as fight fans are bewildered by his fight choice.

During an interview on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Eddie Hearn revealed Nate Diaz’s desires.

Apparently, the UFC fan favorite wants to box Canelo Alvarez.

That is wildly ambitious considering Alvarez is one of the best boxers in the world. Sure, Diaz is entertaining, but it’s hard to imagine he even has a chance against Canelo Alvarez.

For that reason, fight fans can’t stop laughing at the idea of this matchup.

I think Nate is great and a big draw for MMA but a fight with Canelo?! Man, he wouldn’t even touch Canelo in a boxing match.
