Veteran broadcaster Al Michaels is having a rough year.
Last week, Michaels mistakenly referred to Lincoln Financial Field as Veterans Stadium, even though the Eagles haven’t played in Veterans Stadium in 20 years.
This Thursday, Michaels made another big mistake during the live broadcast.
While calling the Niners-Giants game, Michaels spoke about the Niners winning 4 Super Bowls, which is clearly wrong. The Niners have won 5 Super Bowls.
“So you think about the 49ers, this is a franchise that has won four Super Bowls, Bill Walsh won two, George Seifert won two.”

Of course fans are already calling on Michaels to retire.
FOUR Superbowls? FOUR?
Al Michaels needs to retire.

The 78-year-old Michaels might need to consider calling it quits if he keeps slipping like this every week.
