Bengals Ja’Marr Chase Tells Seahawks Devon Witherspoon: ‘LOL HOLD THAT L’

Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase couldn’t resist poking fun at the Seahawks on Instagram.

After Cincinnati beat Seattle 17-13 in Week 6, the Seahawks posted photos on Instagram celebrating the performance of rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon. Witherspoon had a solid outing, finishing the game with four tackles and a career-high three passes defended.

Chase, who led the Bengals with 80 receiving yards on six catches during the game, was targeted only twice when covered by Witherspoon and failed to make any catches.

In response to a picture of Witherspoon flexing on him, he commented: “LOL HOLD THAT L.”

In response Witherspoon shared the picture on his Instagram story with a emoji.

The rookie cornerback has been performing at a high level since his season, with seven passes defended, two sacks and a 97-yard Pick-6.

The Seahawks will face the Cardinals in Week 7, while the Bengals will enjoy some rest with a Bye week.
