An NBA basketball game is a long game, usually full of big runs by both teams. But, sometimes, you know a run will be game-deciding when you see it.
That’s what appeared to happen at the end of the first half of the pivotal Game 4 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets. A disastrous 30-second stretch by the Minnesota Timberwolves likely doomed them to a second-straight home loss and the series potentially evening up, 2-2.
The Timberwolves cut a 15-point deficit to 7 late in the second quarter before an absolute disaster unfolded. Take a look.

Oh, man. If you’ve ever wanted to see Murphy’s Law in action during a basketball game, that was it. Absolutely nothing went right there for the Timberwolves. And, it was capped off by an insane shot by Jamal Murray. Murray had been ice-cold through the first two games of the series, but his improved play has coincided with the Nuggets looking more like themselves.
If the Nuggets win this series, remember this sequence.
