Are you one of those people who always wears sneakers on the golf course? Is it because you don’t like the look of golf shoes? Or maybe it’s the comfort factor.
Whatever the reason is, what if we told you that you could still wear sneakers on the golf course, but have the added performance benefit of wearing golf shoes with spikes?
If that’s something that appeals to you (and why wouldn’t it?), then this new Kickstarter creation called Golfkicks will be right up your alley.
All you need is some shoes with at least a 1/2-inch rubber sole and a Phillips-head screwdriver (or a Phillips-bit drill) and voila!
Worried about them tearing up your comfy old kicks or falling out when you crank out one of your 300-yard drives? Don’t.
Golfkicks are “designed to stay in your shoes so you can crush balls and outrun Coyotes and Course Rangers.” And if you accidentally screw one in the wrong place and remove it the rubber heals nicely and the resulting hole is barely visible.
Seriously, why has no one ever done this before?
