Ohio State Football Pulls The Most Cowardly Move On Social Media After Losing To Michigan, Missing Playoff

Ohio State Final Score Football

Ohio State football has lost three-straight games to Michigan. That includes Saturday afternoon.

The Buckeyes never held a lead during the 199th edition of the The Game. They lost by six.

As a result, Ryan Day and his team will not only miss out on the Big Ten Championship, but likely the College Football Playoff.

On the flip side, the Wolverines are in the driver’s seat.

Jim Harbaugh will return to the sideline against Iowa next weekend (with a lot more money in his bank account) and needs one more win to secure a top-two seed in the Playoff. His team is 12-0.

A loss at the Big House was the worst-case scenario for Ohio State. It ruined their national title hopes while boosting that of its biggest rivals. Demoralizing would be an understatement.

Day looked legitimately depressed. Understandably so.

To make a bummer loss even worse, the Buckeyes pulled the most cowardly move in social media. They have not — on X, Instagram, Facebook or otherwise — posted the final score of the game. Lame.

@OhioStateFB last reposted a highlight of Marvin Harrison Jr. making a catch with 48 seconds left. Its last score graphic came at the end of the third quarter.

A final score graphic has not yet been posted, as of 9:00 a.m. ET on Sunday, to any account.

Not X, not Instagram, not Facebook. Take a look:

The only reason not to post the final score is to avoid getting roasted online. However, by not posting the final score, it gives college football fans even more reason to roast the team online. They flock to other posts and proceed forward with the same meme treatment, while also demanding the score.

To not post the score is a major loser move. To not post the score after losing to your rival in the biggest game of the year by a large margin is lily-livered and dumb. So embarrassing.
