As long as he isn’t playing for my *NFL team, I love Jamies Winston.

The Jameis-era of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was brutal as a fan. My expectations were sky high for the Heisman trophy winner who won a National Championship at my alma mater and then got drafted #1 overall to the NFL team I’ve rooted for my entire life.

Alas, Jameis was wildly entertaining but wildly unpredictable as QB for the Bucs and now we have Tom Brady and I’m perfectly happy to sit back and watch Jameis play for the Saints. You never know what he’s going to say or do. Case in point, his latest quote.

Henceforth I’ll be using the botched version from Jameis versus ‘cooler than the other side of the pillow’. That’s old and tired, Jameis Winston’s ‘smooth as the other side’ is the new hotness.

Chris Olave was a certified stud at Ohio State. He holds the Buckeyes’ record for most career TD receptions (35) and it does scare me (as a Bucs fan) to see the Saints pick up such a talented wide receiver.

For what it’s worth, Jameis Winston currently has +10,000 odds to win the NFL’s MVP award. Do I think he’ll win? No. Could I envision a world where that happens? Sure.
