We can all sleep soundly tonight knowing that the saga of Tom Brady’s stolen Super Bowl jerseys has finally ended. On Monday, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft returned Brady’s Super Bowl XLIX and Super Bowl LI jerseys to the 12-time Pro Bowl quarterback.
“Thanks to our good friends’ cooperation throughout, here it is,” Kraft said as he unzipped a bag and pulled out Brady’s white jersey.

“It took an international trip,” Kraft said of the stolen jersey the was tracked down by law enforcement groups and finally found in Mexico. The search for the jerseys involved the FBI, Houston Police Department, the Texas Rangers, and the Mexican government. The intense international investigation revealed that the culprit was Mexican media member Martin Mauricio Ortega Camberos, who stole the jerseys from the Patriots’ lockeroom.
Meanwhile, Brady posted an Instagram photo of him geotagged at Fenway Park with his jerseys.
The Patriots star QB was getting ready to watch the Boston Red Sox take on the Pittsburgh Pirates on opening day. He received a hereos welcome as he arrived at the park.
