Chris Stapleton and Buffalo Trace Team Up To Create An E.H. Taylor Jr. Bourbon ‘Unicorn’ Single Barrel Release for 125th Bottled in Bond Day

In celebration of the 125th Bottled in Bond Day, Buffalo Trace Distillery partnered with Chris Stapleton and his Outlaw State of Kind Charity for a special spirit release.
The release is a limited edition 12-year E.H. Taylor, Jr Bottled in Bond Single Barrel Bourbon (100-proof) that went into barrels on June 3, 2009 and was bottled in mid-February.
This is the second year in a row that Chris Stapleton partnered with Buffalo Trace Distillery for a ‘unicorn’ E.H. Taylor Jr. Bottled in Bond Single Barrel where a handful of bottles are auctioned off through his Outlaw State of Kind charity. The 124th Bottled in Bond Day release (last year) drew so much interest to the Outlaw State of Kind charity the limited number of bottles were auctioning for tens of thousands of dollars.
Keep in mind these bottles are not available to the public. They send out a very limited number of bottles to friends and family of the Buffalo Trace Distillery.

The Outlaw State of Kind charity auction is being hosted by CharityBuzz and there are currently two auction sets (each valued at $5,000). Last year’s Outlaw State of Kind charity auction was incredibly successful but they’re raising the stakes this year and the auction items include more than the bourbon. Rare Baseball Autograph Collection Appraised for An Estimated Value of $25,000
Originally airing on PBS, “Omni Mount Washington Resort, Hour 2” includes the valuation of a man’s autograph collection that was passed down to him from his father.
The man talks about how his father grew up outside of Boston during the 1920s and 1930s. During that time, his father would write to players saying he was amassing an autograph collection of the “world’s greatest players.”
What’s awesome is all the player’s the man’s father wrote to responded back, with the players neatly signing their names back on the letters. It turns out that of the 12 players the man’s father wrote to, 8 of them ended up making it to the Hall of Fame.
