Getting a little fed up with how the American government has been handling things, especially financially, during the pandemic’s weeks-long lockdown? You are not alone.
Comedian Vic Dibitetto is going viral this week for a video he posted to his YouTube channel where he absolutely goes OFF on them.
And when I say he goes OFF, I mean his incredible four-minute rant is filled with spittle flying at the camera and his face getting so red that I honestly started to become concerned that he was going to drop dead from a heart attack or aneurysm before he could get through it all.
“You know what ticks me off? Having to tell the government what to do because they have their heads in their asses,” Dibitetto begins his rant.
“You told us to shut down non-essential businesses,” Dibitetto screams. “You told us to go home and quarantine. You told us we have to keep social distance and stay inside. But you told us you would help. So where is the fuckin’ help?!”
He then proceeds to rip the idea of mortgage companies and banks giving people a “three month furlough” on making payments, but then telling those people that in the fourth month they have to catch back up, paying FOUR months worth of mortgage after being laid off from their jobs.
“So someone who lost their job because you said to stay at home doesn’t pay mortgage for three months, but in the fourth month they have to not only pay that month that’s due, but also the three months they owed and fourth because it was furloughed?! How the fuck does that help, you greedy cocksuckers?! Someone who was just unemployed not earning money for three months, they weren’t earning money hello?! Now they just start back to work and all that money magically appears so they can pay the three months in a lump sum? How are they fucking paying that?! Are you fucking idiots?”
So good.
Warning, as you may have gathered from the quotes above, there’s some rather *ahem* strong language in what you’re about to watch. So be sure to turn it up as loud as possible.
