‘That Was Disgusting’ UFC Ref Under Fire Over Late Stoppage, Letting Bobby Green Get KOed With Unnecessary Shots

UFC ref Kerry Hatley is under fire for his decision to allow Bobby Green to take unnecessary punishment in his fight against Jalin Turner.

On Saturday night at UFC Austin, Turner dropped Green in the first round and began unloading on him. Despite several unanswered shots and covering up on the ground, Green was eventually knocked out cold due to the ref not stopping the fight sooner.

UFC commentator Michael Bisping ripped into Hatley over the late stoppage.

“That was disgusting, he was face down, he was getting teed off on by a world-class very powerful striker, it was disgusting…Kerry Hatley, he’s a great referee butwhat the hell was he waiting for? It’s as simple as that, people’s lives are at stake, their longterm future…That was utterly disgusting and disgraceful, I bet if he were face down on the Octagon with some cracking on his face he’d want it to be stopped sooner”
