Serbian big man Nikola Jokic just wants to go home and be with his horses.

On Monday night, Jokic led the Denver Nuggets to the team’s first-ever NBA championship.

Jokic was named Finals MVP and became the first player in NBA history to lead the playoffs in total points, assists, and rebounds.

Despite all the success, a stoic Jokic didn’t appear to care about all hoopla about winning an NBA championship and breaking NBA records.

During his postgame interview with ESPN’s Lisa Salters, Jokic was asked about what it felt like to win an NBA championship, and this is how he answered.

“It’s good, it’s good. The job is done now. We can go home now.”

Jokic even left behind the Finals MVP trophy on the table, which led to his teammate Bruce Brown wondering what to do with it.

Even Jokic’s postgame celebration in the locker room was pretty subdued.

NBA fans reacted to Jokic’s lack of emotion about winning the NBA championship.
