Drake Raps About The Secret Kid He Had With A Former Porn Star On His New Album ‘Scorpion’

That Pusha T-Drake beef seems like it was eons ago, but the fallout is fresh. If you recall, on Pusha-T’s diss track “The Story of Adidon” he outed Drake for fathering a secret child with former porn star Sophie Brussaux. Drake never had the chance to respond to that diss track because J.Prince stepped in and made them squash the beef before it escalated to Tupac-Biggie levels and people’s personal safety were put at risk.

Last night, Drake dropped his two-side album Scorpion and in the new album he raps about having a child and puts his story out there for the entire world to hear, this way he doesn’t have any more secrets to keep or skeletons in his closet. Drake raps about his son, Adonis, multiple times throughout the album. Here’s what he says on ‘Emotionless’:

“I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid, Breaking news in my life I don’t run to the blogs/ the only ones I want to tell are in my phone I can call/ They always ask, ‘Why let it run if it’s false’/ You know a wise man once said nothing at all.”

Then, on the closing track of Scorpion titled ‘March 14th’ Drake really lays it all out there and talks about meeting Sophie and how quickly everything happened:

Yesterday morning was crazy, I had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not a maybe / That shit is in stone, sealed and signed / She not my lover like Billie Jean, but the kid is mine / Sandy used to tell me all it takes is one time, and all it took was one time/ Shit, we only met two times, two times! / And both times were nothing like the new times/ Now it’s rough times/ I’m out here on frontlines, trying to make sure that I see him sometimes/ It’s breaking my spirit/ Single father, I hate when I hear it / I used to challenge my parents on every album / Now I’m embarrassed to tell ’em I ended up as a co-parent / Always promised the family unit / I wanted it to be different because I been through it, but this is the harsh truth now.

So there it is. Drake has a son named Adonis who he didn’t want out there in the world getting ruined by publicity. He was trying to give his son the chance to grow up with something close to a normal life but it appears as if that was no longer an option after the Pusha-T diss track.
