We’ve circled two games in the Western Conference among Thursday’s schedule of NHL games as our best bets of the night.

The Vancouver Canucks and Minnesota Wild will each look to take the series lead in game three on Wednesday.
The Wild were able to get the upper hand in a convincing 3-0 game one victory, but the Canucks came back in game two; they were able to jump to a 4-1 lead and stave a late surge to win 4-3 and tie up this series.
The Canucks have seen their forward lines take a hit due to injuries. Right-wing Tyler Toffoli was a scratch in game two and Micheal Ferland and Antoine Roussel both left during that game. This gave Brock Boeser an opportunity to make an impact, and he did with a goal in the second period.
With each team looking for the upper hand, tonight’s game is going to be closer than the last two have been.

10:30 P.M. EST
The Calgary Flames will look to win their first playoff series since eliminating the Vancouver Canucks in the opening round back in 2015.
The Flames have looked strong throughout this series and have been offensively dominating leading in scoring 16-6. What’s helped them is their ability to kill the power play – they had the eighth-best penalty kill during the season – and they’ve allowed just two goals in 15 power plays.
What makes matters worse is the Jets have several injuries, including the team’s leader in points and assists, Mark Scheifele. There’s a lot of pressure for Connor Hellebuyck who has a .892 save percentage in this series.
The Flames have looked like the better team and with the Jets’ injuries, Calgary should be able to close out this series.
