Before tonight’s NBA draft, many experts believed Luka Doncic could very well be the next great European player. The Mavs apparently believethe experts because they moved up in the draft to pick up Doncic by trading a future protected first round pick and their fifth pick for the Hawks third pick.
Atlanta and Dallas have agreed to a deal, league sources tell ESPN.
They’ll trade Nos. 3 and 5 picks, sending Luka Doncic to Dallas and Trae Young to Atlanta, sources said. Dallas will send Atlanta a future first.The Hawks eventually drafted Trae Young and their fans were pretty pissed off.
