People Are Canceling Their Spotify Accounts After Joe Rogan Has Alex Jones On Podcast And They Talk Hunter Biden, Vaccines Before Election

It appears that Joe Rogan is getting canceled by the Internet again.

Just last month Rogan was heavily criticized for booking controversial writer Abigail Shrier which led to angry Spotify employees threatening to strike unless they got editorial control of the JRE podcast.

During the episode, Shrier sharply questioned whether extremely young women should be undergoing gender-transition operations, treatments, and therapies, while also questioning whether many of these women are genuinely trans or simply seeking acceptance and validation.

That drew accusations of transphobia from a contingent of LGTBQ+ Spotify employees, who reportedly demanded changes in more than ten separate meetings with Spotify upper management.

Spotify employees were demanding direct editorial oversight over the recently-acquired Joe Rogan Experience podcast,” Digital Music News reported. “That would include the ability to directly edit or remove sections of upcoming interviews, or block the uploading of episodes deemed problematic. The employees also demanded the ability to add trigger warnings, corrections, and references to fact-checked articles on topics discussed by Rogan in the course of his multi-hour discussions.”

On Tuesday, a week before the Presidential election, Rogan had controversial Infowars founder and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on the podcast, and they touched on hot button topics such as Hunter Biden’s laptop and the Bill Gates vaccine conspiracy theory.

People were not happy Rogan gave Jones a platform to discuss his conspiracy theories and started canceling their Spotify accounts as a result.
