According to Charles Goldman, the Chiefs wide receiver claims that playing Call of Duty: Warzone with Mahomes, Kelce, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling “is what was the difference in their chemistry” on Sunday. So, as it turns out, video games can actually be helpful for pro athletes.

Let’s face it, winning three straight games of Warzone is a difficult task. The best teams to do that have to utilize strong communication skills and execution. Well, that’s exactly what we’ve seen from this Chiefs offense lately. Perhaps Juju Smith-Schuster and his teammates should continue playing Call of Duty.
There are a ton of professional athletes who play video games. Some even stream playing games as a way to make extra content. However, it’s kind of cool to hear how Juju Smith-Schuster, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling tear it up virtually and on the football field.
