Mac Jones is taking at least one page out of Tom Brady’s playbook this offseason as he’s looking to improve his diet.

Brady essentially lived on water, avocados, and supplements during his NFL career. While Jones doesn’t sound like he’s going to dive right into the TB12 method, he is hoping to limit his favorite food, ice cream.

Jones sat down for a one-on-one interview with the Patriots’ official website and said he’s looking to eat a bit healthier during the offseason.

“I like ice cream too much, like a lot of people,” Jones explained. “I want to just limit it and then try and eat healthy like we do at the Patriots. Every day they give us great food.”

Everyone with above-average tastebuds likes ice cream “too much,” it’s not just you, Mac.

Jones earned himself some ice cream during his rookie campaign last season after leading the Patriots to the postseason. He finished the year with 22 touchdowns and 13 interceptions to go along with 3,801 passing yards.

It doesn’t sound like Jones has committed to completely removing ice cream from his diet, which is a wise decision. Quitting cold turkey, when ice cream hasn’t let you down to this point, would be a mighty tough move.
